ZETTEN – after 20 years of ACSI Sponsorship for Alice Naber-Lozeman, ACSI is pleased to introduce a follow-up initiative: a whole eventing team. The ACSI Eventing Team consists of senior rider Alice Naber-Lozeman (48) and two successful riders, Janneke Boonzaaijer (22) and Thierry van Reine (19). This means that there are now two commercial Dutch eventing teams. The entire team will be participating in the North Holland Horse Trials in Oudkarspel at Easter (19-21 April), and recognisable in their ACSI colours.
“You have to be reliable. In my company, ACSI, reliability is a key word. In the field, reliability is important in both rider and horse. It’s great that the first jump start my father took with setting up ACSI in Europe has now resulted in jumping of a different kind, with the eventing horses that make up the ACSI team!”
ACSI wants to support eventing in the Netherlands and give it a positive boost through the creation of an ACSI Eventing Team. The top horses at the international level can now carry the powerful ACSI prefix. Alice Naber: “I think this team is a great opportunity! I’m thankful for it and very happy with it. I’ll do everything I can to make this team a success, and to help my teammates in whatever way I can!”.
The well-known brand BR is a co-sponsor for the ACSI Eventing Team, providing horse blankets, equestrian sports clothing and other articles.
A quick look back: when Ramon van Reine stopped his international Eventing career, ACSI started sponsoring Alice Naber. The combination of this sponsorship and Alice’s efforts led to her participation in several Dutch Championships, European Championships and the 201 World Cup in Tryon in the United States. Of course the high point was participation in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The next big goal for Alice and the ACSI Eventing Team is another Olympic Games, hopefully starting with the one in Tokyo.
ACSI is pleased to invite business partners to several eventing competitions throughout the year, where they can enjoy each other’s company and of course the sport.
The three trucks available to the riders drive several thousand kilometres through Europe to get to the various races. This makes the ACSI Eventing Team a good opportunity for ACSI to promote its various brands throughout Europe.
About ACSI
Reliable and objective. These are the two key words for ACSI, Europe’s camping specialist. The familiar green campsite guide that provides campers with reliable information has existed since 1965. The guide has grown from covering 55 campsites to covering more than 10,000 campsites across Europe, which are visited and inspected every year. The power of ACSI is therefore that all the information is up to date and reliable.
ACSI does much more to ensure that holidaymakers have a great camping holiday – with general information about camping on the internet, organised camping trips, ready to go camping accommodation across Europe, a camping discount card, ACSI Club ID, and so on.
